Elin Marchetti co-founded Skerry Marine Systems in 2017 and has led the company as chief executive since. She trained as a naval architect at Southampton and spent eleven years designing survey and offshore support hulls, latterly as head of concept design at BMT.
She has led the company through three funding rounds totalling £96m and the type approval of the K3 Scout for uncrewed operations in UK and Norwegian waters.
She sits on the UK Maritime Autonomy Regulation Working Group and speaks regularly on the regulatory path for uncrewed vessels.
