Ukraine's Ex-Defense Minister Launches 'Manhattan Project' for Battlefield Robots

Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has initiated an "Army of Robots" program, inspired by the Manhattan Project, to accelerate the development and deployment of advanced ground robots. The initiative aims to integrate engineers, startups, and capital to create a force of humanoid and other ground robots capable of taking over dangerous front-line tasks, potentially substituting infantry. Fedorov plans to invest in existing companies with viable weapons and targets initial battlefield results within six months and a robot-led assault within a year.
