Naval Group Delivers Second FDI Frigate, HS Nearchos, to Hellenic Navy
Naval Group has delivered the second of four FDI frigates, named HS Nearchos (F602), to the Hellenic Navy. This frigate features an enhanced Standard 2 combat configuration, distinguishing it from the lead ship, HS Kimon. The delivery occurred on October 30th in Lorient, France, attended by defense ministers from Greece and France. This marks a significant step in the FDI program initiated in 2022 and highlights the ongoing Franco-Hellenic cooperation, involving over 75 Greek companies in Naval Group's frigate and submarine programs.
