ASELSAN Showcases Deployable Naval Air Defence Systems GÖKDENİZ and GÖKSUR VLS
ASELSAN is presenting deployable versions of its GÖKDENİZ Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and GÖKSUR VLS missile-based air defence system at EURONAVAL. These adaptations aim to extend the application of proven naval technologies to a broader range of platforms, including civilian vessels and critical maritime infrastructure. The GÖKDENİZ, a gun-based system, can be containerized for independent operation, while the GÖKSUR VLS offers modular missile defence. This approach allows for flexible, temporary protection in high-risk maritime areas.
