MBDA and TERMA Partner to Develop Containerized Air and Surface Defence System
MBDA and TERMA are collaborating to develop the Self Protection Integrated Mistral 3 Module (SPIMM), a containerized air and surface defence system. This 'Plug and Play' solution, housed in a standard ISO container, integrates MBDA's SIMBAD-RC4 weapon system with TERMA's C2 system and advanced sensors. It is designed for rapid deployment on naval vessels, offshore assets, and land-based sites to counter threats including drones, cruise missiles, and unmanned surface vessels.
