Maven Robotics Secures Production Contract, Plans Fleet Expansion and RaaS Model
Founded in 2024, Maven Robotics has developed four iterations of its mobile manipulator, raised $100 million, and secured a production contract with its first customer. The company's robots are currently operating 16 hours a day, five days a week, with up to 99% uptime. Maven Robotics focuses on automating industrial tasks by developing robots that can fit into existing facilities, reach high shelves, and handle significant payloads. The company also utilizes a "global fabric of shared learning" through the Maven Network, allowing robots to learn from each other's mistakes. Maven plans to scale its deployments to 24/7 operation and offer robots as a service (RaaS), aiming for hundreds of robots on contract within the next year and thousands by 2028.
