Saab Unveils Optionally Crewed CB90 CX Multimission Combat Platform
Saab has introduced the CB90 Capability X (CB90 CX), an expanded, optionally crewed version of its CB90 fast assault craft. Initially available in ISR, anti-ship warfare, and SHORAD configurations, the CB90 CX is designed as a multimission platform. Sweden is the launch customer, with the first vessel undergoing final acceptance trials. The new variant features a larger hull, increased payload capacity, and an integrated Combat Core system enabling automation and remote or AI-driven operations. Saab is also developing options for drone and torpedo deployment.
