EDGE Launches Second Corvette for Angolan Navy, First Built in UAE
EDGE launched the second BR71 MK II multi-mission corvette, NRA Nimi-ya-Lukeni (F301), for the Angolan Navy at Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) on October 29, 2026. This vessel is the first of its class constructed in the UAE following a technology transfer. ADSB is building this corvette as part of a larger contract for three vessels. The program integrates naval platforms and unmanned systems from EDGE, including two VTOL unmanned helicopters from ANAVIA per corvette.
