Hanwha Defense USA Showcases M38 MUSV and Containerized Munitions at AUSA 2026

Hanwha Defense USA presented a model of the M38 MUSV, a 38-meter uncrewed surface vessel developed in partnership with Magnet Defense. The M38 serves as a testing platform for the future 48-meter M48 variant, with steel already cut for the first M48. The vessel is designed for various missions including strike, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare, and can carry containerized munitions such as the Chunmoo MLRS and K-VLS systems. The M38 has demonstrated a range of 17,000 nautical miles and is being offered to international markets.
