Embotech and BMW achieve 1 million automated vehicle movements across four sites

Embotech and BMW announced they have collectively moved one million vehicles using Embotech's automated driving technology across four production sites in the UK and Germany. The system, deployed at BMW Group facilities including MINI Plant Oxford in the UK, and Dingolfing, Leipzig, and Regensburg in Germany, handles approximately 3,500 vehicle movements daily with over 99.5% availability. This milestone signifies the technology's scalability and reliability within BMW's live production network, with plans to expand to BMW Spartanburg in the US next year.
