Kongsberg Demonstrates Containerised Naval Strike Missile System for Rapid Deployment

Kongsberg has successfully demonstrated a prototype containerised Naval Strike Missile (NSM) transportation and launch system. The system, which fits four NSM canisters into a standard 20 ft ISO shipping container, was tested in Norway in early October. This company-funded initiative aims to reduce time to market and mitigate risks for customers interested in modular missile solutions. Potential applications include truck-mounted systems, rapid deployment to land sites, and integration onto maritime platforms, both crewed and uncrewed.
