Saronic Secures U.S. Navy Production Contract for Marauder Autonomous Ship
Saronic Technologies received a production Other Transaction award from the U.S. Navy for its 180-foot autonomous ship, Marauder, under the Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel (MUSV) Marketplace initiative. This award follows Saronic's successful completion of rigorous at-sea testing of Marauder's autonomous capabilities, including passive-perception scenarios. The MUSV Marketplace aims to accelerate the fielding of unmanned surface vessels by utilizing commercial-ready technology. The Navy plans to procure 30 MUSVs, with the first deliveries anticipated before the end of Fiscal Year 2027.
