DIU Launches $100 Million Competition for Low-Cost ISR Aircraft
The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) has initiated a $100 million competition to find low-cost intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft. The challenge aims to identify aircraft that can be manufactured and deployed in large quantities. An additional $250 million is allocated for subsequent development and scaled production phases.
