Exail Begins Production of Unmanned Mine Countermeasures System for Indonesian Navy
Exail has initiated production of its Unmanned Mine Countermeasures Integrated System (UMIS) for the Indonesian Navy, following an order placed in June 2025. The system includes four Inspector 90 unmanned surface vessels (USVs), Seascan mine-identification ROVs, and K-Ster mine-disposal systems. Exail will also integrate third-party towed sonar and influence sweep systems selected by Indonesia, along with providing launch and recovery systems and training. The company anticipates further business opportunities with Indonesia, potentially including new systems and upgrades.
